One of the Bastos Group A BTCC cars is alive and well in NZ, and shows up at the occasional historic saloons event. The thing is a beast! Sounds great and keeps up nicely with the more famous cars of the era.

Love these things. Proper old-school British bruisers, and some serious motorsport chops.

I was considering buying one that had 315,000 miles for a couple of hundred quid a few months back. If only because it must be the best built SD1 of all time to have lasted that long.
